95 YEARS OF INNOVATION MADE BY HÄUSSERMANN
We know what we are doing thanks to over 95 years of experience. We have mastered the art of continually improving developments for our customers. The know-how comes from practical experience in contact with many users. It is based on our own intensive research and development carried out over many years in the field of hot forming spring steels and improving dynamic resilience.
As an independent, traditional family-run business, we play at the highest level in the premier league, for example as a partner of worldwide leading vehicle manufacturers. The development dynamics continue to increase in the automotive sector. We have been firmly established in this sector for many decades as a preferred development partner and disc spring supplier to OEMs and first tiers (Mercedes-Benz, ZF, Caterpillar, BorgWarner, John Deere, CNH, Valeo, etc.). We open up new possibilities for them with efficient, innovative problem solutions, as well as for partners from many other sectors, for whom we offer individually tailored solutions.
FIRST EUROPEAN DISC SPRING CLUTCH: FROM HÄUSSERMANN
The “HÄUSSERMANN clutch” under the brand name LuK (Lamellen und Kupplungsbau August Häussermann) was the first European disc spring clutch and the basis of all of today’s vehicle dry clutches. Our manufacturing technology for slotted precision disc springs and precision shafting of clutch discs is based on this tradition.
